This happened 100% because I was hungry for fries. Then, today I drove by a Burgerville and they now have their "sweet potato" fries. I say "sweet potato" because aren't sweet potatoes about the same color as a regular Russet? Anyway, so I'm at Safeway buying the ingredients for what would become my 1:00am dinner, and I find yams, which are the color of the "sweet potato" fries I find myself craving. Obligated, I grabbed one along with an Anaheim pepper which I thought might be kind of tasty with the left over grilled chicken my parent's had with their dinner. I sauteed some sweet onion and the pepper and put them on a small french roll with some mayo. Oh, boy was that tasty! The fries were pretty good too, but it's just so disappointing to buy a yam so I can prepare what so many call "sweet potato fries". Dumb dumb dumb.
